MYMAZDA APP

The MyMazda app allows you to view your complete service history, find your nearest Mazda partner and check your manuals. But our new features make using and maintaining your Mazda even more convenient.  

 

  • Whether you are in a multi-storey car park or on a unexplored road, our practical Vehicle Finder helps you to find your Mazda right away.
  • Apart from an accident, a theft of the car is probably the worst thing that can happen to a driver. The new MyMazda app now warns you with a Remote Security Alert should your Mazda's alarm system be triggered.
  • You can check your latest vehicle status such as fuel/battery level and driving range, in vehicle climate status and general information about your vehicle.
  • If there is a change in your vehicle status, you will be notified by an alert via push message on your smartphone.  
  • Roadside Assistance is available 24/7 and with the new MyMazda app you can make an emergency call very quickly and conveniently if it comes to the worst.
  • In Services section, you can easily view your vehicle mileage and scheduled service due date. Moreover, MyMazda app allows you to send a service request to your dealer online.

CONNECTED SERVICES ON YOUR WRIST

The MyMazda app for your Apple Watch connects you with your car more easily, letting you use key app functions without your phone. Beyond the usual features, MyMazda on Apple Watch is also compatible with our new Last Mile Navigation, which guides you from where you parked to your actual destination.

REMOTE CONTROL

 

Depending on your car model, you can use MyMazda App for your Apple Smart Watch to send remote commands such as lock your car, turn on/off climate control and start/stop charging for electric/PHEV models.

 

MAP FUNCTIONS

 

You can locate your vehicle, find your dealer and nearest charging/fuel stations and send a destination to vehicle navigation system in advance.

 

RECEIVING PUSH NOTIFICATION

 

If you receive push notifications from your MyMazda app, such as service reminders, you can view them on your Apple Watch too.

 

CALL YOUR DEALER

 

If you ever need to call your local dealer, such as to arrange services, you can call them through the MyMazda app on your Apple Watch.

 

GETTING STARTED

After installing the app you need to validate your e-mail address and verify your phone. Simply enter the e-mail address you wish to use and then enter the 6-digit code that will be sent to this address. You must also verify your smartphone using your phone number. After receiving the validation code via SMS, you have to enter it in the app. Now that your access is double-protected, you can simply enter your personal data and start using the application immediately. GRACENOTE UPDATE

UPDATE THE GRACENOTE DATABASE TO THE LATEST VERSION

NOTE: Before you start, make sure your car is in a safe location and the gear shift is in park.

Gracenote cannot be updated using voice commands.
 
 

HOW TO UPDATE GRACENOTE - THE WHOLE PROCESS

  1. Insert a USB drive into your computer with at least 1 GB free space.
  2. Download and save the file by using the the DOWNLOAD link at the bottom of this list (the file is for the European market).
  3. Place the file on the top level of your USB drive (not in a lower level folder).
  4. When finished, safely eject the USB drive and remove it from your computer.
  5. Insert the drive into your vehicle’s USB port.
  6. Select “Settings” from the menu of your main display.
  7. Scroll down to select “System Settings”.
  8. Tap “Gracenote Database Update” and the system will show the latest version installed.
  9. When you see the prompt “Do you want to update the Gracenote Database to <version>?”, make sure it is the latest version you downloaded onto the USB drive. Then select “Update”.
  10. The update can take a few minutes.
  11. When finished, the system will let you know if the update was successful, and you can safely remove the USB drive from the port.

Keeping your Mazda's software up to date can now be done with the tap of your finger: With over the air software updates, you can now easily perform software updates of the center display from the comfort of your car. When an update is available, your Mazda car will automatically notify you via the center display. All you have to do is confirm the update.
